Directions to the Hawthorne location of the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center:

From New Jersey: New York State Thruway (Route I-87) east across the Tappan Zee Bridge to Exit 8, east on Cross Westchester Expressway (Route I-287) briefly to Exit 1, north on Saw Mill River Parkway to Eastview exit. Turn right on Route 100C and left onto Route 9A north. IBM is on the right side of Route 9A, approximately 0.5 miles north of Route 100C.

From Upstate New York: Route I-84 east across Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to Exit 16-S. Take Taconic State Parkway south to Saw Mill River Parkway, south, to Eastview exit. Turn left on Route 100C and proceed to Route 9A north. IBM is on the right side of Route 9A, approximately 0.5 miles north of Route 100C.

From New York City (Manhattan): Henry Hudson Parkway north, which becomes Saw MIll River Parkway, to Eastview exit. Turn right on Route 100C and proceed to Route 9A North. IBM is on the right side of Route 9A, approximately 0.5 miles north of Route 100C.

From John F. Kennedy International Airport: North on Van Wyck Expressway to the Whitestone Expressway and continue north across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, to the Hutchinson River Parkway north to the Cross County Parkway exit and proceed west to the Bronx River Parkway. North on Bronx River Parkway to the Sprain Brook Parkway. Sprain Brook Parkway to the Route 100C Exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp and proceed 1 mile to Route 9A north. IBM is on the right side of Route 9A, approximately 0.5 miles north of Route 100C.

From LaGuardia Airport: East onthe Grand Central Parkway, north on ht eWhitestone Expressway, and continue north across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge. Continue with the instructions from John F. Kennedy International Airport, above.

From Newark International Airport: North on the New Jersey Turnpike (Route I-95). Stay in local lanes and take Exit 72 for Palisades Interstate Parkway. North on the Palisades Interstate Parkway to the New York Sate Thruway, Route I-87, and east across the Tappan Zee Bridge. Continue with instruction sfrom New Jersey, above.

From Westchester County Airport: South on Route I-684 to Route I-287, west on Route I-287 to Exit 3. Continue with instructions from New England and Connecticut, previous column.
